PERFORMANCE BOOSTER KIT – ZeroR Permafrost is a performance booster to all R1234YF AC systems. PermafrostYou can use as many cans in your system as you wish, while being sure not to overfill the system with the included can tap with gauge. No additional tools required. KIT CONTENTS – 3 Cans of ZeroR Permafrost are 4oz by weight. The contents are a blend of the proprietary performance enhancer as well as a refrigerant to propel the additive into the system. The can tap is 12” in length with a gauge metered for R1234YF systems. Standard R1234YF can taps will not work on ZeroR branded R1234YF cans, because our cans have a unique thread. 10 MINUTE INSTALL – Please read the can label for important details. (1) Turn your vehicle on, set the AC to max cool & max fan. (2) Connect the can tap to the first can and the other end to the low side service port on the vehicle. (3) Flip the can upside down Use the valve to release the refrigerant into the system. Every 10-15 seconds close the valve to view the pressure gauge. Repeat step 3 until the pressure gauge indicates the system is full. Do not overfill your system! Legal – HFO-1234YF refrigerant and ZeroR branded R1234YF products are flammable and should be handled and stored in a safe environment suitable for flammable products. We recommend only using this product in systems designed for flammable refrigerants such as R1234YF vehicle a/c systems. See product label for additional safety information. Cans are only 4oz, so 1 can worked good for topping of my system.

Careful to read the fine print. These cans are 3 to 4-ounce cans. Amazed they make such a thing. For some reason, I did not see that before I purchased it. The only advantage I can see with that is you less likely to waste coolant as you likely will use it all. In the long run, if you need the cable and gauge it might work out otherwise check your local stores. I paid considerably less per ounce (1 can).

Needed a recharge for a 2017 Jeep Renegade. The only option at local stores was over $150 for 2/3 of the quantity of this product. Product was extremely easy to use, and the provided gauge was easy to read.

Can’t really compare the freon all I know is that it works like other brands I have used in the past. Although it is quite annoying that you can only buy the kit with the hose included (obviously boosting up the price) and unfortunately the hose is absolute garbage and leaks through the connections when rotating the can and trying to fill the AC system. At least 1/3 of the can leaked out making it a terrible value for money when 1/3 of the product is wasted. I would have given the product 5 stars if it was a few dollars cheaper and didn’t include the hose.
