   Definitely red and tacky. This seems like a good general purpose grease. Not as hard to clean or as greasy compared to some all purpose grease but I do like the gel like viscosity. That can be a pro or con depending on what you need it for. One small thing. These don’t have the pull tab top. It’s just an aluminum seal with no thumb tab to pull so be ready to either puncture it and pull while likely getting grease on your fingers or pull with pliers.

   You can see where you apply it. Easy to see when the new grease has flushed out the old on wheel bearings. Have had no problems with any bearings greased with it.I’ve started using this as my gun grease after reading some reviews. Works great on my break action shotguns and handguns. Also used it on rifle bolts. Doesn’t take much and stays where you place it.

   I use this grease on literally everything with a zerk. Less likely for things to go out if you have the right grease.
