I’ve used Rain-X for probably 30 years now, and I’m not exactly sure when they changed the carrier from ethanol to isopropyl alcohol, but they did. You can smell it, like rubbing alcohol (because that’s what it is) where before it was a smoother sweeter smell.Still seems to go on ok, but it just behaves a little different, and doesn’t quite feel as slick as it used to. It’s been dry for a while, so not exactly the greatest way to test how long it lasts, but absolutely beats plain glass.I really wish they’d bring back those single use foil packs because those were great for travel when you rent a car, you can actually see where you’re going without having to take the spray bottle with you and worry about it getting loose in your luggage.

I followed the instructions and it worked so well that I didn’t have to change the wiper’s blade. It’s fairly easy, rub it on twice, and wipe it off. If somehow you can’t wipe the fog off use a bit of water and it’ll go away. I’m in California, so I won’t need too much of it, so I’m tempted to just go and secretly use it on my neighbor’s vehicle just to wow them.

The ease of the use and I think for value the little bottles that you put on the squirt on the window and wipe works just as well and I think it might go just a little further but it does work very well

Rain-X is a highly effective product. I am especially pleased with the spray bottle as it make application much easier than the small flip top bottle. It’s worth getting a larger bottle just to get the benefits of the spray bottle.

I applied this product right before a trip next day, and it rained. I can clearly see the difference on windows with and without this product. The area with the product applied has very tiny rain water attached, and the other area without this product is obviously way worse.

This works well to help water bead off the windshield. I applied this before going on a 6 hour roadtrip to Canada. The Rain-X helped rain and snow bounce right off my windshield with minimal use of the wipers. Of course, it will wear off over time and needs to be re-applied, but it’s worth the time and effort. I recommend this product.

This is a great item. The rain bounces off the windshield and greatly improves visibility. Not a bad idea to have all of your windshields treated with this.

Rain-X is (as always) a great product if you live in a high rain prone area. the downside of this particular product is its delivery system. the sprayer leaks consistently when using them, if you stored it on its side or upside down (not sure why you would, but just in case someone is thinking about it… dont) Im pretty sure it would all leak out before next use.anyways, the best way to actually use RainX is always going to be to apply heavily with a sponge.so the spray bottle is basically meaningless.
