   We live in the suburbs of NJ when morning frost on our car’s windshield is a nearly daily occurrence during the winter. It can be time consuming to scrape the ice off in the morning, especially when you’re rushing out the door to make it to work on time, and in our neighborhood scraping ice off at 6am can also be a noisy disturbance to others.We’ve used the Pyroil de-icer spray and found it to be very effective. It works fast – it nearly instantly turns the ice to water so you can easily push it away with the windshield. No need to coat every last inch of the windshield either, just a general coating over the major areas as the wiper blades will then spread the fluid around and clear the ice off the windshield. This translates to maybe a few squirts of the fluid. One can lasted us pretty much all of last winter.Not sure how toxic this chemical is, but then again I’ve never tried touching it. If any of it ever got on my hands when spraying it on, I just immediately went inside and washed my hands with water to get it off.
