I’m not sure what anyone expects from a review of such a common product. I would love to say that my car has never stopped so well in its life but that isn’t the case. My car stops every bit as well as it always has with this fluid or any other freshly added fluid would allow it. I suppose I can review the can. The can was quite round and easy to hold. The beneath the yellow cap is a white inner plastic seal. That seal is removed by pulling a tab on the seal. my tab broke off when I pulled it and I had to use a pocket knife to pry up the inner seal. It added 30 seconds to my 1.5 hour brake flush.Good stuff just remember to buy more than you need but not too much as it has a limited shelf life once open.

Works perfectly in my 1999 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with 2.2L EJ223 engine, 4sp auto (4EAT), and front discs. Used several times to flush through some old calipers that were binding. The front passenger rotor got up to 430 degrees F (according to wireless IR thermometer) on one trip before I realized that the caliper had failed. And I realized this in the parking lot of a restaurant across town for a work dinner. YIKES! I nursed it home and it was about the same temp upon my arrival home.Upon disassembly, I had completely cracked two brand new Bosch Ceramic brake pads. They were literally crumbling. Two new calipers later and all is good in the world. Any DOT 3 brake fluid (even full syn) would have boiled. I’m confident that the only reason I didn’t have brake failure was because I had recently upgraded to Pentosin Super DOT 4.In went more Super DOT 4 after I got the new calipers. Not a single issue since and all rotor temps are normal. And no discoloration of the old fluid as I flushed it out (or as I poured it out of the old calipers).

Pentosin has been my brand of choice for years in brake systems. It’s resistance to moisture absorption reduces corrosion and saves tons of money by prolonging the life of brake components. Great performance and value!

These folks made the OE brake fluid for GM at one time…they still might.

Arrived as it promised time frame in good packaging conditions, and it was sealed and untouched.

Proper brake fluid for my Audi. The car is in Southern California, so I don’t need low viscosity.Amazon delivery was great, and as usual was poorly packaged for protection. It is a good thing that the fluid comes in a steel can. Packaging consisted of a sheet of crumpled paper. The can was dented on the sides, bulging at the bottom, but intact.

Used it as part of Service B for my Mercedes. I flushed out the old fluid and replaced it with the Pentosin. Brakes work perfectly and I have peace of mind for another couple years.
