I bought this because I kept getting frozen out of my car. The problem I’m having now is that I’m still getting frozen out of my car.I have a 2003 VW Jetta. I know, I’m working on getting an upgrade, but for now, I’m just happy she’s with me. Problem is, she doesn’t have one of them fancy beepers to pop the locks. And somehow, as soon as temperatures drop below 32 degrees (apparently, even sometimes before), the single lock that I have on the drivers door will freeze solid. So I bought these, thinking that my problems were solved forever. Twas not meant to be.The red nozzle didn’t fit into the keyhole, so I had to put the key in, then try to spray the liquid (which smelled pretty much exactly like rubbing alcohol… is it rubbing alcohol?) In the narrow gap next to the key. Most of it didn’t make it in, so I had to awkwardly insert and remove the key rapidly to get the stuff in… yeah… I’ll stop there.Even with this shockingly intimate strategy, I had no success. Most of the liquid just got on my hands or dripped down the door. And still the lock would not budge. It sort of worked a couple times, so I kept one in my pocket. Then, one particularly cold night, I went to use it, and it just died on me. No more fun juice! (What? But I’ve used it, like, three times!)Yeah, for the price of a sandwich, I guess you’re not losing the family fortune, but you’re certainly not thawing any locks, either.

This product works great. The customer service for this product was amazing my shipment came with only 2 and I contacted them and they sent me the third one immediately. I would definitely buy it again from this company.

My husband bought just one at Walmart a while ago when our truck’s locks were frozen when he got off of work (he worked there). Then I took it to work with me because the ice box’s locks were frozen. It un-thawed the truck’s locks and the ice box locks fantastically. You have to wait a few minutes after applying it, but it’ll work! We recently had an incident where we wished we had one when the truck locks wouldn’t open again. We’re not sure if they were frozen or just stuck like ice salt got in and jammed it, but it’s a lubricant as well so it probably would’ve worked then. I bought these to have as backups just in case!

I am a self storage manager. During winter and cold months, these are a must! Locks freeze up all the time and it saves me from having to cut the whole lock off.

They are perfect for on the go because you never know with the snow and ice in new England

Excellent! The day it arrived, I had a stuck combination padlock. One squirt and it was freed up! Still working great a day later.
