   This item is crap didn’t reduce the noise of ticking on my hydraulic lifters save your money instead of buying this…..

   It is sold as a hydraulic lifter additive but it does more than that. 2004 F150 5.4. Bought at 192k miles and it had the horrible cam phasor start up issue. Sounded like a diesel about to blow up for the first few seconds and then quietened down when the oil hit it. It also had a slight mysterious knock somewhere in the engine after warm up at an idle. It now has 207k and I just added this product and have only driven a few miles, less than 1/2 tank and already 95% of the startup cam phasor noise is gone and only last a split second. The mysterious knock? Gone! It sounds like a new engine on start and idle now. I am ordering some more and will be putting it on on every oil change on this engine from now on.

   2007 Mercedes S 550 with 130K miles. Had noticed the clicking for months and thanks to the nice people that service my cars they told me about this product. I reluctantly purchased it and voila! Within a week the lifter noise disappeared. It worked so well that I put the other can in my 2002 Mercedes CLK 430 which had a slight click and it also worked in this car as well. Definitely worth trying.

   There are no other products specifically formulated to CLEAN a lifter, the cause of noise in an otherwise undamaged engine. This product completely resolved lifter tap in a 2007 Tahoe with 303k miles. This Tahoe was on synthetics for its life to thus point, but lifters can get “dirty”. This fixed that.

   One of the few additives that WORKS. I’m a car guy. I put it in one my street rods that hasn’t been driven much lately. I drove about 10 miles and lifter noise GONE! Highly recommended!

   Used this in my 89’ VW Vanagon. It helped a lot. Lifters are still noisey on start up but not nearly as bad, and clears knock after about 5 minutes of running. Highly recommend.

   I have a bunch of old cars, and this makes a noticeable difference- especially old Toyotas (or Isuzu in my case) with lifter noise.
