Honda genuine fluids are the exact original equipment manufacturer (OEM) fluids that your vehicle came with. When you select a genuine OEM fluid – you can rely on the high quality and effectiveness of the product and brand without having to guess if the product will work in sequence with your vehicle. Protecting your investment is important and choosing the right fluids can be challenging. So don’t risk another minute by searching and buying something that might work. Stick with what you know and choose a genuine OEM Honda fluid.
- Meets Honda quality standards

I am not one who believes most of the “hocus pocus” on a bottle of engine fluids. I don’t add stuff to my gas or oil because I have never seen or calculated any of the promised improvements and that includes 6 solid months of tracking every gas fill up when using a fuel injection enhancer. This stuff, however, is not snake oil.I had been having problems with the AT in my ’93 Accord and figured I would give this a try. The real problem ended up being solved with some solder and a new capacitor in the TCU but the Honda Genuine ATF made a significant improvement even after that repair.About two years ago I had the transmission flushed at a Tires Plus where they installed a “universal” fluid. At the proper intervals I switched this out for Valvoline’s fully synthetic Dexron equivalent. I figured the hard shifting I noticed in low gears was just a symptom of an old car.I followed the advice of the previous reviewer who recommended draining 3 quarts at a time every 100 miles as I found similar suggestions elsewhere on the internet. When I put in the first 3 quarts of Honda ATF and it finally worked its way to the torque converter I noticed or rather stopped noticing that familiar chug when my car shifted from first to second. By the second 3 quart infusion even the second to third shift (by far the hardest in my vehicle) practically seemed non-existent when accelerating to highway speed (I did still notice it when cruising city streets.) Now that I have cycled the last 3 quarts in the second to third shift is very gentle even at city speeds.I cannot begin to image what makes this chemical so different from even top of the line universal ATF’s but the difference you feel is real. For other skeptics who like me assume half the effect of any “special” fluid or name brand part for a car is placebo note that I driven this car cross country for years. I am very acquainted with exactly how this car moves and sounds and I am positive the transmission performed better after I switched the genuine ATF. If you have a Honda and this is not in your transmission it should be.

My 2013 honda civic was shifting weird not sure if it was because i was low on fluid or cause it was dirty but when i changed the fluid it was super dirty. This helped make my shifts so much smoother and was super easy to do.

Was getting slight transmission shutter in my CRV. Drained transmission fluid and replaced with this Honda advised ATF (about 3 quarts), and shutter completely resolved. Prior transmission service was 30,000 miles ago (at 90,000 on car) for same problem….resolved with complete transmission fluid replacement. Advised to drain/refill every 30,000 afterwards, and this did the trick exaxtly as advised.
