I wish it was made so I did not have to push the button the whole time it was dispensing

2nd year I bought this for my 1996 Mercury Marquis car due to small a/c leak somewhere in compressor that I can’t afford to fix. I am 62 years old with NO car mechanic skills. I watched a youtube video for my make of car and found out just how easy to use this a/c product. The $20 spent was a little less than the $748 quote received by the car repair shop to “replace” unit, hoses and then the coolant. Thanks to the car shop for the high qoute. Thanks to Amazon PRIME for the great price, youtube for video and Interdynamics Chill Refill!!Product does work in July in New Orleans.

It is easy to connect and pump the refill. I just used the old hose came with the bigger can, bought two years ago from Walmart. Opened the hood of my Odyssey 2004 after setting the lowest cool air, I pushed in one end of the hose to the air line of the van and the needle stayed at the green area on the meter. Green means low and I connected the other end to the can and pumped the refill to get the blue color, filled. It’s done in about less than 5 minutes and I could feel the air blowing colder after the refill. It’s been a month and the air is blowing strong and cold.

It worked but I thought the gauge that works with it was on the cheap side and the hose could have been a little longer.

I filled 2 cars that were not putting out cold air and still have a tiny bit left. Both cars are blowing cold.

The two piece plastic screw on knob FAILS during use. The plastic screw connector is dimple held in place to the plastic top of the can. Screwing the can to the charging hose causes the two piece plastic to fail allowing the contents to empty the oil and additive contents by spraying all over the engine bay. Not a good design. Buy another product with a direct screw-on metal top. This experience left a lot to be cleaned up. No est buneo.

The product is good. What they said about it is true. I gave it 4 stars for value for the money becauseit costs more than other products. I got it because I thought it would fit the recharge kit I had fromEZ Chill, but it didn’t. It did work fine and easy.
