I can make 27 gallons (in the same 1 gallon container) using this small bottle. So far it seems to work well – winter might make it interesting as I’ll need to find alcohol to stop it from freezing, but for summer use, it’s a great value. Windshield washer fluid at any auto parts store or discount store is $3 – $4 a gallon. 27 gallons for what two would cost me retail – and that’s 27 plastic jugs that won’t have to be recycled or end up in a landfill. I do use filtered water for this to avoid any mineral deposits, etc.

I’ve always paid $5/gal of name brand wiper fluid and never seem to have it on hand when it’s time to top-off the cars. Now I just keep plenty of distilled water on-hand (which has a million uses) at only $1/gallon and I’ll have wiper fluid forever on-hand. 27 Gallons!Beware the blue dye in the concentrate stains like you wouldn’t believe! Add it with a syringe, or do it over the lawn if you’re pouring or using a spoon. Just 3 tsp / gallon of water.
