I’m not too sure but it appears as if the threads of these refrigerant bottles have an unusually wide thread. The bottles do not screw into a ‘standard tap’ I purchased via Amazon. They don’t screw onto the Interdynamics attachment either.I lost quite a bit of refrigerant due to the bad connection.UPDATE:The threads on these refrigerant bottles have ACME threads (whatever that is) and a tap that is ACME threaded must be used. Interdynamics has a tap (DV-134 R) that does thread onto these bottles without incident.I don’t know why the manufacturer does not comment or include this information on the Amazon description.

As far as a quick fix for cold air this product works fine. My A/C has been leaking coolant for a while and I currently do not have a whole lot of time to get it fixed do to work. With that said I typically refill about once a month. I was hoping the the leak sealant advertised in the product would help but alas it is still getting worse. I now have to refill about once every two weeks since switching over to AC pro. I am not sure if the two problems are directly related but over time buying the more expensive stuff with a leak stop in it is not working. If all you need is a recharge then A/C Pro is great but if you are looking for a band aid this product will get rather pricey pretty quick.

The product was received on time and in good order. I used the A/C Pro along with the Advance Leak Sealer in my tired A/C system in my 1998 Trans Am. The A/C system hadn’t worked well for the last 5 years. Initially, I had trouble getting the system to accept the refrigerant charge. I turned the can upside down to be able to transfer the refrigerant to the system. The A/C works well now and hopefully will for some time. The small expense for these products sure beats taking my car to the shop for an A/C repair.

I was sure I ordered a larger size. I was shocked to find a 14 Oz container. I am not sure if I was mistaken or the shipper switched sizes after I ordered. It was easy to install and works fine. I just didn’t receive enough to fill my system so now I have to go get another can somewhere.

I’ve used this product before and it does work pretty well. There are you tube videos for it’s proper use. The only problem I have is that I didn’t receive what was advertised by the seller. It was supposed to be a 14oz. can but what I got was a 12oz. can. It turned out to be enough for the job so I’m not as mad as I would have been otherwise. Still, it wasn’t what I ordered.

As received shown in picture. no seal on can with rust on the nozzle. Did not charge my system, suspect this was a partial bottle?

Got it for less than what it cost before locally from this seller. Perfect!
