Must for highway drive off city drives. cleans the bug splash and road dirt very well. Though for city use I don’t recommend as it leave lots of spots.

My Audi ran out and researched a bunch. Landed on this and I have to say it works pretty good. Doesn’t leave deposits or water spots on car. Windshield is very clean also. Highly recommend over the store bought stuff.

I’ve tried quite a few products and this is the best by a long way. Really convenient measuring feature built in to the container, very easy to pour accurately, no ammonia, very good cleaning properties and smells awesome.

Love this stuff. Does a real good job at cleaning the windshield. Love that I don’t have to have multiple large bulky containers of fluid to ensure my car never goes dry.So economical on $ and space! The only thing I need to get used to is- how to make it not foam when i make/fill it into the car. The instructions say to pour straight water into the reservoir first before filling your washer fluid mix in- I can’t fathom how that helps so didn’t do it the first time. I will the next time though! So. Follow the instructions and just be ready to stop pouring or pour slightly less of it- or mix slightly less of it so you don’t have to throw extra out. (or have an absorbant towel situated while pouring as a buffer.

Well, first and foremost, being a detailer for over 30 years, nothing irritates me more than bad, noisy or streaking wipers, OR wiper wash that smears and leaves a bunch of schmutz all over the surrounding glass, mirrors, side windows and so forth. And I don’t like the ready mixed windshield washer you buy at the Auto parts stores (Unless it’s freezing, then you want to use the ones that don’t freeze)..However, if you want absolutely perfect wiper performance and clean swipes, try this method on your glass before you use the Kristall Klar..1. When your windshield is dry, clean it first using something like Invisible Glass (you can buy this at Amazon). Wipe the glass good and do a nice buff. Any glass cleaner will do, I just swear by invisible glass. If you have very bad water spots or calcium spots, carefully clean the windows with something like Limeaway or CLR (But DO not get it on the paint), or just use white vinegar. Put it on a microfiber towel, then the glass, don’t spray it on the glass. But if you’re going to use Limeaway or CLR, you’ll want to rinse the glass afterwards.. Just, again, don’t get it on your paint. Dry the windshield good when done.2. THEN, take 0000 (Known as Quadruple “aught”) Steel wool, and take two steel wool pads out, unroll them and make one big pad. (They’re spun, like cotton candy, and packaged in little rolled up pads).3. Pull your wiper blades up so you can work on the whole windshield and while your windshield is DRY, take that steel wool pad and just buff the glass in small circular patterns (Like you’re waxing, but with no wax). Apply good pressure. You will NOT scratch your glass, however do be careful around the edges, near trim, especially the front cowl, or near any painted surfaces.4. Just continue to buff it and you’ll feel the steel wool “Fleck” off contaminants on your glass. Things like silicone (Especially residue from your own wipers), brake dust, calcium and even remnants of dead bugs just come right off.. Keep buffing until you don’t feel any more resistance. (BTW, you can buy clay to do your glass, and I’ve tried it, wasn’t impressed and didn’t make my wipers work near as good as the method I’m showing you).5. After you’re done buffing, if you do have a blower or Air compressor, blow any steel wool lint that might have got caught in your windshield cowl.. If not, just use a towel to try and get it off and wipe it down….Now, fill the reservoir in your car: Some people know this, but other’s may not. The real secret to a good windshield washer is to use Distilled water.. Fill your washer reservoirs with distilled water if you want perfect results.Sure it sound expensive, most people just use their garden hose to fill the reservoir, but try distilled water. It would be the same price as purified water, but it works better. The reason being it’ll make your windshield wiper blades last a bit longer, and when it dries it doesn’t leave any water spots or calcium deposits. It makes the concentrated Kristill Klar work better..With that being said above, with distilled water, I actually only use about a half pump cap reservoir when I use the Kristall Klar. Being a German product I felt the quality was probably there and it is truly concentrated. . It does work great and one bottle makes quite a bit of windshield washer. I use about 3/4’s or half a pump cap per gallon, works just fine. Enjoy.

This stuff seriously is the best. Lets get this straight first, this is NOT a winter washer fluid, I live in Florida so I have no need for anti-freeze washer fluid, but if you do, this will not work for you. This stuff keeps your windscreen sparkling clean, removes bugs and road residue like nothing else. That smeary haze produced by your wipers due to oils in your glass pores, GONE! If you use this regularly it keeps the glass so clean that a deep scrub product (like Glass Science) is unnecessary (although you may need to deep clean the glass if you have originally been using that cheap blue stuff from the gas station).I have been using this for over 5 years non stop due to the cleaning quality. Not only does it work fantastically, but when I run out of washer fluid all I have to do is fill the built in measuring cup, pour it into my washer reservoir and add a gallon of tap water.I sometimes give a bottle of this as a gift to friends when they get a new car. This would get 6 stars if I could give that.

This works well and makes a lot of washer fluid as it is concentrated and there is a built-in measuring reservoir to use the proper amount. Since it does NOT contain anti-freeze, you can add 99% isopropyl alcohol at a 16:1 ratio (water to alcohol) if used in cold weather. Making your own fluid saves a LOT of money!
