   This was what I expected getting a Dexron III transmission fluid from Toyota. Since my Toyota uses this both for transmission and power steering fluid, I was happy I found this available since you can’t really find these in many stores, if any.

   Dealerships say that Toyota transmission fluid is the same as any dexron III fluid. I believe that yes they are the same but when it comes to additives that are in the Toyota transmission fluid, they are not the same.
